Premier Hotel Near Charlotte, NC
Premier Hotel Near
Charlotte, NC
To spend summer holiday this year, I decided to visit Charlotte NC with my family to experience
the Queen City. Charlotte is a major city and commercial hub in North Carolina.
Its modern city centre (Uptown) is home to the Levine Museum of the New South,
which explores post–Civil War history in the South, and hands-on science
displays at Discovery Place.
Before landing
there, we had to book a good hotel for our stay and I looked online and tumbled
across a number of luxury hotels, cosy bed and breakfasts and pampering
resorts. There was one hotel in particular that stood out among the rest of
them on account of it being a craftsmen style home built in the early 1900’s
giving it a vintage look and feel.
Morgan and wells is
furnished with polished oaks and heart pine floors, 12-foot high ceilings and
guest rooms decorated in contemporary-transitional style to embrace modern
luxury and old world charm.
The rooms were
elegant, classy and comfortable and very spacious and are designed to fit
anyone’s budget and taste. The service was excellent with ample of amenities
and southern hospitality. Each room offered free access to Wi-Fi and was well
equipped with different kinds of telecommunication devices. The food menu was
quite diverse and the food was delicious.
The spa services
that the hotel provided were excellent. They provide expert therapists who help
rejuvenate your mind and body with their treatments and massages. I find Morgan
and Wells the best hotel near Charlotte NC. Also, there are a number of
attractions and tourist places nearby for one to explore. Here’s a peek into
them:
Racing & Pro
Sports
Charlotte’s racing
history is alive and well—in fact, almost 90% of racing teams are based in the
region. Feeling the need for speed? Try the NASCAR Racing Experience, where
you’ll zoom off at 160 mph in race cars that have been driven by the likes of
Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon.
Outdoor Exploration
With a mild climate,
you’ll want to find plenty of time to spend outdoors. The most adventurous of
travellers should hit the US National White-water Centre, an open-air
recreation centre and training facility for white-water rafting, kayaking,
canoeing, biking and hiking. (Fun fact: Its artificial white-water river is an
Olympic Training Centre for white-water slalom racing.)
Arts &
Entertainment
Whether you love the
art scene or live music, Charlotte’s got it covered. In the heart of Centre
City in a building designed by Mario Botta, the Bechtler Museum of
Modern Art houses 20th-century art by masters like Miro,
Calder and Picasso. Also a must for arts buffs: The Light Factory, one of only
four museums for photography and film in the U.S.
