Plan for a Perfect Weekend in Shelby Last weekend, my best friend and I got to explore the western edge of the Charlotte, the beautiful city of Shelby. Shelby is a city in the county seat of Cleveland County, North Carolina, United States. Just a short distance from Charlotte, and only a few hours from Durham, Shelby becomes a perfect weekend getaway destination. With so many things to do in Shelby and surrounding areas, you can achieve the perfect blend of relaxation and sight-seeing. To say that we were pleasantly surprised by the charm and beauty of this exotic place would be an understatement. We stayed at the most adorable hotel, Morgan & Wells, and were in awe at the simple, but completely stunning rooms.
