Best Hotel Near Charlotte NC To spend Christmas holiday this year, I decided to visit Charlotte NC with my family to experience the Queen City. Charlotte is a major city and commercial hub in North Carolina. Its modern city centre (Uptown) is home to the Levine Museum of the New South, which explores post–Civil War history in the South, and hands-on science displays at Discovery Place. Before landing there, we had to book a good hotel for our stay and I looked online and tumbled across a number of luxury hotels, cosy bed and breakfasts and pampering resorts. There was one hotel in particular that stood out among the rest of them on account of it being a craftsmen style home built in the early 1900’s giving it a vintage look and feel.
