Last weekend, my best friend and I got to explore the western edge of the Charlotte, the beautiful city of Shelby. Shelby is a city in the county seat of Cleveland County, North Carolina, United States. Just a short distance from Charlotte, and only a few hours from Durham, Shelby becomes a perfect weekend getaway destination. With so many things to do in Shelby and surrounding areas, you can achieve the perfect blend of relaxation and sight-seeing.  

To say that we were pleasantly surprised by the charm and beauty of this exotic place would be an understatement.   Best Hotel Near Charlotte NC To spend summer holiday this year, I decided to visit Charlotte NC with my family to experience the Queen City. Charlotte is a major city and commercial hub in North Carolina. Its modern city centre (Uptown) is home to the Levine Museum of the New South, which explores post–Civil War history in the South, and hands-on science displays at Discovery Place.
