Wondering where to go on your next weekend getaway? Consider adding Shelby, North Carolina, to your list of destinations! Just a short distance from Charlotte, and only a few hours from Durham, Shelby becomes a perfect weekend getaway destination. With so many things to do in Shelby and surrounding areas, you can achieve the perfect blend of relaxation and sightseeing. So, for my next trip, I decided to go to Shelby.

Before landing there, I had booked a B&B by the name of Morgan & Wells that stood out among the rest of them on account of it being a craftsmen style home built in the early 1900’s giving it a vintage look and feel.

This polished bed and breakfast are built in a craftsman style. It is beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast is complimentary and other amenities include a spa offering massages and facials. The hotel also provides recreation amenities such as bicycles to rent. It also includes complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services, and barbecue grills.

Shelby is known affectionately as the “City of Pleasant Living”. There are a number of interesting things to do in and around the area of Shelby give you a number of reasons to start planning your journey to this scenic destination like:

·        Visit the world-famous Don Gibson Theater

·        Tour the Owl's Eye Vineyard and Winery

·        Trek in South Mountains State Park

I loved the accommodations. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It made my trip even more special as I felt like I was at home. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. You will be glad you chose it.

In the suburbs, Morgan and Wells B&B is in a walkable area with good shopping. Earl Scruggs Centre and Cleveland County Arts Council is cultural highlight, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Owl's Eye Vineyard and Winery, and Deer Brook Golf Club.



Spa services, a business center, and a meeting room are available at this smoke-free bed & breakfast. Free full breakfast, free Wi-Fi in public areas, and free self-parking are also provided. Additionally, concierge services, dry cleaning, and laundry facilities are onsite. All 3 individually decorated rooms feature free Wi-Fi and memory foam beds. For a bit of entertainment, guests will find flat-screen TVs with DVD players, and other amenities include premium bedding and coffee makers.

Morgan and Wells is the best B&B in Shelby in my opinion and I suggest it to everyone who visits Shelby and I am pretty sure that whenever I am in town again, I am going to stay nowhere other than at Morgan and Wells.

  Know All About the Best B&B in Shelby If you’ve never been to Shelby in Cleveland County, picture the quintessential classic Southern small town and you’ll have a good idea of what to expect. It  is a modern small town with close ties to its musical heritage through a new museum and theatre.   Best Hotel Near Charlotte NC To spend summer holiday this year, I decided to visit Charlotte NC with my family to experience the Queen City. Charlotte is a major city and commercial hub in North Carolina. Its modern city centre (Uptown) is home to the Levine Museum of the New South, which explores post–Civil War history in the South, and hands-on science displays at Discovery Place.
