The Villa at Waters Edge

For this entire year, I have been locked up in my home due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It has been a rather monotonous time and when I say this, I believe I am speaking for a majority of people out there. Anyways, after the situation became somewhat normal and the lockdown was lifted, my husband and I decided to go on a holiday. And god knows that it was the need of the hour.

We decided to go to Belmont, NC. It is a small suburban city in Gaston County, North Carolina, United States, located about 13 miles west of uptown Charlotte and 9 miles east of Gastonia. For our stay, we wanted a peaceful and secluded place in the lap of nature and we found just the perfect place which goes by the name of The Villa at Waters Edge.

The Villa at Waters Edge is a lakeside Villa located on a secluded cove only 15 minutes from Charlotte North Carolina. The Villa overlooks a secluded cove on the glistening waters of Lake Wylie.



 Large picture windows and floor to ceiling views bring the outdoors right into the spacious gathering room to enjoy a fireplace and panoramic vistas of the sunrises and sunsets. Our soul stirring Villa offers an exquisite get away from relaxing on the veranda and letting your body unwind to catching a glimpse of a deer prancing by.

The property at Water’s Edge is designed to become one with its surroundings and take advantage of the natural beauty found only in Charlotte, Carolina. The amenities include spa and pool, Wi-Fi, TV, indoor fireplace, laptop-friendly work space, iron, A/C and heating appliances.        

When you stay at Waters Edge, there is many more entertainment choices that are only minutes away: US National White-water Centre, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, The Billy Graham Library, Nascar-Lowes Motor Speedway, Caro-winds Theme Park, Blumenthal Performing Arts Theatre, Mint Museum of Craft & Design, NBA Charlotte Bobcats, NFL Carolina Panthers, golf courses, malls, antique shops and fine dining. Yet the peaceful, serene environment and so many things to do.

Overall, I can say that my stay at The Villa at Waters Edge was a pleasant one and I am definitely going to stay in this hotel whenever I am in Belmont next time.

Charlotte is a major city and commercial hub in North Carolina.
